SPOILERS AHEAD...
Really? You weren't disappointed in this book?
I certainly wasn't disappointed in the writing, but I was very disappointed in the ending. It just seemed way too depressing... I mean, the White Council became even more unstable, and Harry lost his girlfriend, Morgan (who was reliable, if not supportive of Harry), and his brother. All of that sacrifice, and they didn't even get the real bad guy. A couple of those would have been okay. All of those with more gained would have been okay. But as it was, it just seemed like too much loss...
Dunno. Maybe its just me?
Ooh! And I recently read a book that you probably will like- "Magic to the Bone"
I randomly picked it off of the new book shelves at the library, thought it looked sort of interesting. When I read it, I found myself enjoying it a lot more than I had thought I would. Then I got to the end, and they did the usual, "Like this book? Try these authors!" and I started laughing because they all were authors I love... Jim Butcher, Kat Richardson, and (I think) Rob Thurman... If I had read those last pages first, I never would have hesitated to take it off the shelf!
